There was father who had four sons. He wanted his sons to learn not to judge things too quickly. So he sent them each on a quest, in turn, to go and look at a pear tree that was a great distance away...
The Eldest son went in the winter, the second in the spring, the third in summer, and the youngest son in the fall.
When they had all gone and come back, he called them together to describe what they had seen.
The first son said that the tree was ugly, bent, and twisted.
The second son said no it was covered with green buds and full of promise.
The third son disagreed; he said it was laden with blossoms that the flowers smell so sweet and looked so beautiful, it was the most heavenly thing he had ever seen. parang garden of Eden?
The last son disagreed with all of them; he said it was ripe and drooping with fruit, full of life and fulfillment.
The man then explained to his sons that they were all right, because they had each seen but only one season in the tree's life.
He told them that you cannot judge a tree, or a person, by only one season, and that the essence of who they are and the pleasure, joy, and love that come from that life can only be measured at the end, when all the seasons are up.
If you give up when it's winter,
which most of us do when things go very wrong you will miss the promise of your spring, the beauty of your summer, fulfillment of your fall.
Moral Lesson
Don't let the pain of one season destroy the joy of all the rest. just keep in pace and learn to relax
Don't judge life by one difficult season. always stay positive
Persevere through the difficult patches and better times are sure to come some time or later.

ReplyDeletewow, what a good parable. :D thats right we have ups and downs in our lives and you will not be judge as who we are in just a single season of our life just like the brothers did to that tree. maybe this quote will help
ReplyDelete"it's not wise to judge a person whom you know very little of him. " tama ba? ahahaha. naunsi nag pataka man ko oi.

Yes, this things are very nice lets always remember that every challenges that we have, there is and ending what is important we should not surrender to this challenges in life.
ReplyDeleteI have also a quotes that can relate to this: The difference between the life in the world and life in school, In school you will be teaches a lesson for you or us to learn on it and then a test but life in the world you will be given a test so that you will be learn the lesson.
as the saying goes: "don't judge the book by it's cover"....in terms of judging a person we don't have the right to judge them in what we see, we should know know how to dig the personality of that person to know him/her better, they say there is something meets the eyes. And in terms in life sometimes we are so stubborn on a bad things that life bring us, we don't see that theres a reason behind it, sometimes these things might save us from committing a biggest mistake ika nga "angel in disguise" daw..hehehe..nice post ice..i like it..muah
